HOW IT WORKS
When a call comes in, CallBlocker™ answers the call BEFORE your phone rings and plays a brief message that greets all callers:
“You have reached CallBlocker™ and not an answering machine. All commercial sales calls and fund raising requests are not accepted, place this number on your do not call list. Personal and invited callers press 5 on your touch phone to proceed.”
Alternatively you can record your own message. A variety of alternative messages are suggested in the user guide within the pack, or below is a selection of alternate messages for you to record onto your callblocker.
STERN THEMES:
"You have reached the Callblocker and not an answering machine. All commercial sales calls and fundraising requests are not accepted, place this number on your do not call list. Personal and invited callers press 5 on your touch tone phone to proceed."

MODERATE THEMES:
"Hello, before our phone rings, please note that we don't want to be interrupted by any sales or fundraising calls. Mail these requests only. Now, friends and other invited callers - please press 5 on your touch tone phone."
"Hi there, you've reached our Callblocker. Please, make no sales call or fundraising requests by telephone. Use the mail. Regular callers can now press 5."
"Hello, we are having dinner and our Callblocker does not accept telemarketing calls in the evening. Now, friends and other invited callers please press 5 on your phone."
LIGHT-HEARTED THEMES:
"Attention all telemarketers and fundraisers! Don't call... We hang up. Use the mail. Our phone will now ring to personal and invited callers who press 5 on their telephone. Thank you."
"Hi, unless insurance pays for it, we don’t give money or buy anything over the telephone. Period. Friends and private callers - please now press 5 on your telephone."
"Hello, you have reached our CallBlocker and not an answering machine... Sales callers and fundraisers - don't waste your time and money, hang up now! Our telephone will only ring when personal and invited callers press 5 on their telephone."
