Distinctive Ring Feature.

Fed up with answering calls which are for someone else in your household? With distinctive ring feature CallBlocker lets you know who in your household the incoming call is for. This is because CallBlocker makes your phone ring with a different tone if the caller presses 4 or 6 on their phone pad instead of the usual 5.

This means in your recorded message you can personalise ring tones to the people in your household. Just record a new message on your Callblocker that tells the caller to press a number according to whom they wish to speak to – for example Press 4 for Jane 5 for Peter or 6 for Ben.

PLEASE BE AWARE that the CallBlocker unit is not designed to work with any kind of panic alarm pendant or dial-out help system, and we do not recommend purchasing the unit if you have one of these in your household.

The CallBlocker unit will also prevent any automated messages from getting through to you, for example any neighborhood watch alerts or police alerts. Because the CallBlocker will answer all of your telephone calls before your phone rings, this also prevents BT1571 answering service from picking up unanswered calls. However the unit is designed to work with any answerphone device or internal answering message system within a telephone, and when the unit is switched off BT1571 will continue to work.
